Property Data Types

The SDK models the request and response data that the SDK uses when interacting with server APIs. Many of these values are defined within the OAuth2 public specifications, while others are defined within the SDK for how a developer will use the SDK.

For consistency, some common patterns have emerged, which will be documented here. This will help to ensure different language versions of the SDK, as well as different APIs within the same language, will be consistent and comfortable for a developer to use.

📄️ Whitespace-Separated Lists

When representing a property sent or received to/from a server (Authorization Server, Resource Server, etc) that is encoded as a whitespace-separated list of values, the SDK should encode that as a String Array property (e.g. [String]).
